Hippy Commune……Sorry I meant Nakitas Homestead, Olkhon Island   2 comments

A gallery to itself.  On the surface of things Nakitas Homestead on Olkhon Island, Lake Bailkal was a picturesque wooden Homestead.  With winding alleyways  and simple rustic rooms with no running water or heating.  Fine when its warm and dry.  On our visit it was neither warm or dry.  This lead to muddy paths a challenge to stay upright on when you were legging it from one building to another, smelly hole in the ground toilets and dirty showers.  The female staff all wore those patterned flowing skirts and headscarfes and the fellas where none existant.  Wierd place, but very photogenic never the less….
