Peacefulness in the Beijing hustle and bustle   2 comments

Hidden behind a metro station on the west side of Beijing is the Lana Temple.  It is a beautiful site made up of numerous temples, containing an enormous variety of different buddas, one measuring 26 metres in height and crafted from a single cedarwood tree.  It is a very peaceful place.  People visit to worship there or just enjoy the peace, like we did.
